Maroon Capital Microfinance Limited, is an indigenous Ghanaian company, licensed by the Bank of Ghana in July 2013, under the Non-Bank Financial Institution Law 2008 (Act 774), to operate as a Microfinance Company. Maroon is authorized to mobilise deposits and grant loans to prospective clients in its catchment area.
Maroon for the past nine years has developed innovative, sustainable, and competitive (but pro-poor in nature) financial products that meet the needs and interest of its clients, focusing largely on women, the youth, and persons with disabilities (PwD) who are engaged in agriculture-value-chain and related income-generating ventures. Maroon has also extended its commitment to include building the capacity of entrepreneurs through targeted training and proper utilization of their resources.
At Maroon, we strive to alleviate poverty by providing financial services to the vulnerable in our chosen rural communities. We offer financial loans, savings, and financial literacy to rural women entrepreneurs to empower them and move them from poverty.
We also offer personal, and business financial solutions that are aimed to provide the best value to our clients in the most efficient way.
